Safe Password Policy
Key principles for establishing and managing safe passwords in the working environment.
Safe password is one of the key elements of access protection. The working environment must use passwords that are long enough, unique and difficult to guess.
Recommended Requirements for Password:
- The password must be at least 12 symbols long.
- It should include: upper and lower case letters, numbers and special symbols.
- Each account must be used unique password. The same password may not be used in more than one system.
- Passwords shall not be shared with other employees or sent to email, chat or other unsafe channels.
- For safe storage of passwords, it is recommended to use a password manager such as:, Bitwarden, 1 or KeePassXC.
The password manager helps to generate complex passwords, safely store them and reduces the risk of employees using weak or repeated passwords.
